Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22 1975) is an American actor. She is the recipient of many awards which include the Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is a part of the Barrymore family and is the great-granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was a child actor and gained fame for her portrayal of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She released Little Girl Lost, her autobiography detailing her childhood of addiction to alcohol and drugs. Later, she was in a string of highly successful movies throughout the 1990s including Poison Ivy Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
