Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell rose to fame as a cast actor on "Saturday Night Live," before appearing in such big-screen comedies as 'Elf,' 'Anchorman and 'Talladega Nights.' Born in 1967 in Irvine, California, Will Ferrell launched his career in comedy by being a part of the Los Angeles-based improv group the Groundlings. Following his seven-year stint as a Saturday Night Live's main cast member, Ferrell rose to fame with off-color shows like Old School (2003). Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die video streaming service. He also had success in the role of a voice actor on animated features such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell is a California native, who was born in Irvine on July 16, 1967. Will Ferrell was the eldest of Lee Ferrell, Righteous Brothers keyboardists and Kay Ferrell. As a University High School student, he was not exactly a clown in the class. Ferrell, who was quite quiet and studious, chose to make his mark on football, where he set a school-record for the most made field goals. Ferrell's suburban house wasn't the best place for his outrageous and funny outbursts later to define his career.
