  Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30 1991) is often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper from the United States. He's also a songwriter, singer as well as a record producer and songwriter. The stage name he uses is a tribute to the name of a favorite uncle combined with the first name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013.  The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length, the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It included the smash track "Antidote". Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) with Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first artist to make it to first place on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
